The Revive Healthy Living Centre, and several other assets including domestic and commercial properties, are owned by the Revive Healthy Living Charity.  Day to day management of all the assets is the responsibility of Revive Management Services Ltd, which is a wholly owned trading subsidiary of the Charity.

The management of Revive Healthy Living is the responsibility of a resident board of unpaid trustees.  As a commercial enterprise, Revive Management Services Ltd has its own board of directors, policies and procedures. 

The two-tier structure enables trustees to use any surplus income (after running costs) to support activities that will directly benefit residents living in the Derwent electoral ward.

Small grants for community groups

Subsidised room rental is available for voluntary sector organisations, and local groups in Derwent, who can demonstrate that their project meets or addresses a local need, and where the community will directly benefit.

Small grants for local residents

A small grant programme is available to help residents that have unexpected and unplanned expenditure. There is only a limited amount of funding available each year, and all applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have a specific need that cannot be funded from other public sources.

Those who wish to apply for a small grant should refer to the map of Derwent and relevant application form to ensure that they are eligible to apply to the Revive Charity. The board of Trustees is responsible for assessing all applications, and their decision is final.

The Pantry Appeal

Revive’s Pantry Appeal has been established to help local residents by distributing new and unwanted goods, to residents on a reduced income. The intention of this project is to recycle unwanted stock and help residents whose budgets are stretched due to the increases in the cost of living.

Our Christmas Pantry

Whilst stock cannot be guaranteed, the Revive generally has a variety of well known branded items including detergents and cleaning products, nursery equipment, children’s toys, towels and bedding.

The Pantry is only available to households, or individuals, who can demonstrate that they live in Derwent and are in receipt of key state benefits. A strict appointment system is in place every Wednesday afternoon between 12.30-5.00 pm. Residents can obtain further information, and make appointments, by contacting the Revive Centre on 01332 288700.

The Pantry’s stock is sourced from a variety of businesses as well as the Inkind Charity. So the project relies on local traders and organisations to donate unwanted stock and raise for funds for the initiative.
